Damnation of Memory: Remember and Warn is a single film shot in the reconstruction of the National Library of Bosnia Herzegovina in Sarajevo in 2012, 20 years after it was destroyed in 1992 during the siege of Sarajevo. Liquid emulsion on glass. 30x30cm, mounted on steel rod to cast shadow.
On this place… Serbian criminals in the Night of 25-26 August 1992 set on fire the National and University’s Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over 2 millions of books, periodicals and documents vanished in the Flames.
